So, I’m going to be participating in a reading this Wednesday, March 20, at a Vancouver chocolate shop called CocoaNymph, hosted by my friends and fellow MFA’ers Ruth Daniell and Kayla Czaga. Chocolate and sexy literature—what’s not to like about that? And check out that adorable event poster. How could I say no to them?
I’ll be reading from my story “The Key Ingredient,” which was in The Dirty Diner: Gay Erotica on the Menu, edited by Jerry Wheeler and published by Bold Strokes Books. (Yes, there is actually a section that I can safely read in public.) I’m really looking forward to this, especially since I’ve had their hot chocolate before and it is amazing. My favorite so far is dark chocolate with black pepper. Yes, really.
And I figure after reading a naughty story about bread pudding, I’ll have earned myself a treat.
